Initial Professional Learning Portfolio Assessment
Format: 45 minutes (via Zoom or in person)
Includes:
A pre-session intake questionnaire exploring educator values, challenges, and strengths
A review of past professional learning goals and current pedagogical practices
A guided reflective discussion unpacking classroom realities, children’s interests, and curriculum focus areas
Following the session, the ECE coach will analyze the educator’s portfolio, classroom context, and learning needs to develop a personalized plan. Within 5 business days, the educator will receive:
Three proposed professional learning goals
A curated list of relevant learning resources (articles, workshops, videos, communities of practice sessions)
PLUS
Follow up One-on-one or Group Coaching Session
Duration: 35- 40 minutes

Sharing progress and implementation updates
Troubleshooting challenges
